There has been an explosion of newborns lately (not that I’m complaining…it gives me a baby fix!) and so far it’s mostly boys. And super sweet boys. Some of them with doting siblings like Mr. C here in the pictures. His family adores him and big sister didn’t have any problems showing him love in front of the camera. It was wonderful to see and catch up with this family. I first met them when we did maternity pictures for their first child. They’ve gone from a family of 2 to a family of 4 and I feel incredibly lucky to get to document their growing family I just can’t believe how big this sweet girl is getting. She’s the little one in the yellow flowers on the header picture of the blog from many, many years ago. And now she has a baby brother who is sweet as can be. I always look forward to seeing these kiddos and their parents. It seems like a big play date with some pictures thrown in! I’m kind of embarrassed to admit the amount of pictures I took of this little guy. Once he fell asleep he was just so cooperative that I was having a great time playing around with different set ups. The number of pictures were at least double the amount that I normally take. I love my job!! I used to work with this sweet girl’s momma so it was great having some time to catch up. Miss C is gorgeous and did so good for her session! All of her kids have beautiful blue eyes and I’m amazed at how bright hers already are.
When I saw this sweet girl in the fall she was a little bit serious. We did get some smiles but mom and dad had to really work for them. BUT, this time she was the complete opposite. She was extremely happy and full of smiles for us. Her parents still had to work some at it but Miss J adores them and it didn’t take much. Such gorgeous blue eyes! This momma is a good friend of my sister-in-law and I was so excited when she contacted me about doing a newborn session. She and her husband already have a beautiful little girl and now they’re a family of four with this precious baby boy. After I met him all I could say is “Oh.my.gosh.he.is.just.so.darn.cute”!!!
