First little girl…

in a sea of newborn boys. She was 6 weeks so I was a little nervous but she was a little angel:)

A Tired Little Boy

This sweet baby boy let us do anything with him. He was like a limp noodle and was oh so CUTE! He has some gorgeous blue eyes and the most adorable and busy big sis. Luckily we were able to talk her into some pictures with her baby brother in the beginning because after that she had a 2-year-old agenda which consisted of on the move, move, move.

Hope you enjoy your peek. Sorry for making you wait:))

Newborn…ish

By the time we did these pictures he was more like 2 months so not exactly newborn but we’ll go with newbornish. We did newborn poses and he was still pretty sleepy. Such a gorgeous little guy and he’s the little brother to Mr. Speedy from previous blog posts. I adore this family and so glad that I got to work with them again:)

Thanks guys!! Hope you enjoy the peek:) Oh, and I guess I must be in a B&W mood because I just realized that I chose all B&W except one.

I love squishy lips

4 Girls & A Guy

I love families of 5…I guess because the dynamics are the same as my family. The dad is a little outnumbered by the girls, but it didn’t seem to phase him. They’ve lived several places around the globe and have the coolest accent:) Thanks for the fun afternoon…hope you love your sneak peek:)

Sunshine….aaahhhh

It’s spring break for us and the house can attest to that. Just one day into it and it’s falling apart fast! And right now I’m going a little crazy…just got home from a photo shoot and the dogs are breathing on me, staring up at me begging for a walk. The kids are arguing from the other room taking turns coming in here tattling on each other. Drew just stuck a metal spoon in the Easy Bake Oven. I let them paint today and there’s little paint prints all over the bathroom vanity, toilet seat (?), and white towels. I need to run down to the neighbors and feed their cat. The kitchen is a huge mess and I’m falling behind. This reminds me why I stress during summer vacation!!! The session was great though and I can’t wait to share the pictures from one of my regular families.

Onto this super sweet family. They were awesome to work with and their little boy is just the sweetest thing. We had to actually run a little from the bright, bright sun….BUT I’m not complaining! I’m so glad that spring is on its way. Hope you enjoy your peek:)

If Only

If only we had known in the beginning of the shoot that to get this little guy to want to be in the picture you had to set up the shot without him in the picture. Make perfect sense? We tried and tried to get him into a family shot under the gorgeous tree and he wanted nothing to do with it. He wanted to explore and do his own thing so we decided that fine, we would just do pics of his parents. And what do you know, take a look at that 2nd picture. Yep, he wanted to be with them. Next we made a trip to a ditch/field/overgrown weeds behind a building area that I had spotted that day. I have a picture of Drew in an area similar to this and it’s one of my faves. So I mentioned it to them and we ran over there. And the good thing about it is that he couldn’t go far once he was in the middle of the tall weeds. We sang and played and got some adorable pictures of him there.

Moose

The newborns are out again in full-force…and I’m loving it. Every single one lately has been so good to work with. This family has given their little guy a “moose” theme and so we incorporated some moose props. He looked too cute in his moose outfit.

BIG yawn….

Baby Boy

Isn’t he sweet? He had great little newborn eye contact!

And with that I’m on my way to the hospital to see my new niece that will be here shortly!! I can’t wait:) And I’ll be sharing lots and lots of pictures of her soon.

I love this one! I have one where his feet are in perfect position with everyone else but this one makes me smile:):):)

Thank goodness

the weather is getting better. I’ve started noticing that green is popping up everywhere all of a sudden and have even spotted some wildflowers. Yah! Makes me so happy!

As always, I really enjoyed hanging with this senior and her mom. I hope I didn’t scare her too much when I asked her to sit in the grungy old orange chair we came across! Thanks for being such a trooper. Hope you enjoy the peek:)

We got our family picture proofs sent to us a few days ago and I LOVE them. I’m so glad that I had someone do our pictures. I told her that I really wanted them to be of us interacting and not necessarily posed and she captured exactly what I was hoping for. You can look here to view our sneak peek.

A Fun Afternoon

They contacted me to do couples pictures at the very location where they spent a lot of time while they were dating, where he proposed, and now where they live. We walked around and had the best time finding perfect photo spots.

I really hope you like the sneak peek:)

They were both naturals in front of the camera. And I have to give a shout out to her man for wearing purple! I love when a man is manly enough to wear a feminine color:)!
