These three have been friends since birth because their moms met in an online expectant moms group. It was really neat to hear the story of how the group has all stayed close. These cute boys share the same birthday month so we knocked out some one-year-old pictures and some 3-year pictures for Mr. Speedy and his lil’ brother. When I did Mr. K’s one-year pics I dubbed him Mr. Speedy because he’s one of the fastest little clients I’ve had to chase after. And even though I’m [...] This is one of my favorite locations in the winter because there is a large section of green (and I mean GREEN) grass. It’s so green that I actually have to tone it down on the computer because most viewers would think “Wow, she really over-saturated that green grass”! This family was wonderful! The boys [...] Reverse psychology. I figured out pretty quickly that this little guy would do just about anything if I told him not to. I’d say “Don’t you dare go sit in my green chair” and he would immediately go do just that. It worked the entire time. Well, the entire time except when he was running [...] 1. I’m having a hard time jumping back into work after having some much-needed time to slow down. Can you tell? I know the blog has been the first to be neglected. 2. I picked up the kids from school last week and Drew tells me that they had learned about the letter “W” that [...] Also friends/neighbors of ours that I get to photograph every year. Drew loves to play with their son and the girls love to pamper their little girl. Last year at their session I snapped an action shot that I loved and this year (the last picture on the sneak peek) we got another action shot [...] Wonderful family that I was excited to meet. The mom had emailed me about the mini sessions when I first posted info about them and wrote me the kindest words ever. They drove quite a ways for their session and the dad was a trooper (even if he didn’t get to fish after that long [...] She was really shy at first but perked up and then was on the move the rest of the time. Lots of big smiles! Mom mentioned that she loves b&w’s so here you go:) [...] These are the kids of our friends/neighbors and our kids play together quite a lot. The day I picked up these tires I was with their mom and actually in her vehicle. I owed them a tire shoot:) [...] This is a really good friend of mine and her family. They did their session first and then she stayed and helped me the rest of the day.
