Some kids don’t like the feel of grass or weeds touching their legs…not little Miss P. She literally was running herself through tall grass, falling in it, laughing, getting up and doing it again. Quite the adventurous little girl. Isn’t she gorgeous? And playful…she was going to “get me” with the butterfly [...] Okay I can definitely say that I’m not, nor have I ever been a birdwatcher. Well, while we’re doing this shoot of one of my very favorite families the dad sees what looks like a duck way up in the tree. Hmmmm, I didn’t know ducks sat up in large oak trees but, whatever;) Skip [...] These two were so friendly and amazing with each other. I don’t know if they always get along so good but I really think they not only love each other, but they like being together. They were both full of personality and mom melted my heart when she told me that the next day her [...] Such an adorable family. Mom and I had discussed the challenges going into the shoot. We had to do it during the middle of the day which means bright, bright sunlight. There are also, not one, but two 7-month-old girls. She explained that one of them is very happy and smiles easily. The other one [...] A couple of memorable things from this photo shoot. First, when we got to the location we heard an alarm off in the distance. I thought an ambulance was going to drive by but I realized that the sound never got closer. After it had been going for a while I asked them if they [...] I’m so glad that it worked out for pictures for this family. They are a military family currently serving in South Korea and were home for a short time to visit. We met up the evening before they left and they mainly played while I snapped lots of lifestyle pictures. Thanks for letting me document [...] I got the sweetest email from this mom when she decided to book for this spring (Thanks!). Her oldest reminded me so much of my 5-year-old at picture time. He had about ten thousand expressions for me and I was cracking up going through the pictures. I should have done a little collection of all [...] no fun was had on this session at all. Can you tell? It started with meeting up with this great family and having their little girl run up and give me a hug. We had never even met and she had me at hello:) Then we proceeded to be silly and have fun pretty much [...] Growing up I always wished that I had more cousins my age. I was born later for my parents…my sister and brother were already teenagers and most of my cousins were their age also.
