Phoebe – 1 Year

I cannot believe she is already a year old!! I can remember when her mom was pregnant with her brother, and then her sister and then her. That time has flown!!
Her mom had a vision for the set up for the pictures and I think she did an amazing job with putting it all together. The cake that she made was adorable. She also brought a huge balloon with a ribbon that unfortunately popped before we got to use it:(

Little Sister

I was feeling pretty lucky to get to take pictures again for this family. I did the newborn session for their first daughter and now they added another little princess. She was exceptionally good for us. I could have kept snapping away all day:) Her parents had only one request and that was to use a couple of the same blankets that we had used the first time with her big sister. They brought the blue one that is special to them and I dug out the red one. We even did some of the same shots. It was great to see you guys again!

The M Family

Great session but hot, hot, hot! This family was super nice and we scheduled the session pretty quickly because there was a possibility that they were moving overseas. That meant that the session was in June and the temperature has gone pretty high. Luckily, there was a breeze that helped! Their little guy, Mr. D, has a huge, infectious smile and loved to climb and be thrown in the air. Hope you guys enjoy your peek at the pictures:)

Blue Eyed Girl

On the day of our first scheduled session the skies started getting dark not too long before the session so we decided to meet up early and try to beat the rain. We both were on our way and then right before getting to the location the sky opened up! Bummer! I hate when it happens like that because I know how picture days are. Usually a little stressful with trying to get kids ready, napped and fed at just the perfect time so they’ll be in the best mood possible. We waited a couple of weeks and met up for a non-rainy day session. It went really, really good other than the stinkin’ heat that has overtaken us!! But little miss did great. She had loads of smiles for me and her sister was adorable and did great for some pictures, too.

Mr. C

Oh so cute and he didn’t want to miss anything. Mr. C was about 6 weeks when we did the session and his mom said that he sleeps all day every day. We were hoping that he would stick to that schedule for the session but he really didn’t want to. He knew there was just too much fun stuff to look at, a window to look out and women doting on him. And that’s okay because we got some wide-eyed shots and then when he finally couldn’t keep his eyes open we got some sleeping shots. Introducing adorable Mr. C…

Future Athlete

I think little Mr. W has a pretty good chance at being an athlete when he gets a little older. His dad brought some sports gear that we were able to use in some pictures and dad’s eyes seem to light up when talking about blowing up a picture of his baby boy in a picture with a sporty prop.

He was really good once we got him to sleep and let us move him several times without a flinch.

Isn’t he a cute little helmet ornament?!

Two Adorable Girls

Some of my favorite little girlies that are always so fun to see. They are moving to a different section of town so we did the pictures at the elementary school that Miss K goes to. It was actually a great location. Lots of plants, walkways, stairs, columns and big trees.

Plates are Overrated…

especially when you can just perch your food on your arm and eat it at your leisure:) This little guy is seriously cute and he grew and changed so much since his newborn pictures a year ago. This was his first attempt at digging into a cupcake and he loved it!
It was great seeing y’all again.

Pics with the M Family

I recently did pictures with these kiddos but this time we were working with the whole family. Little Mr. T wasn’t really into having anything to do with me or my camera and really wanted nothing more than to explore everywhere we went. But that’s pretty normal for little ones his age. On the other hand his big sister posed like a champ. I guess with 2 shoots close together she’s getting this pose and look adorable thing down!

Wyatt & Family

Wyatt’s mom mentioned that he was a busy boy so I was a little nervous. I’ve had LOTS of busy kiddos the past couple of months that keep me on my toes and help me to burn a few calories (probably a good thing to have some busy kids so I get some exercise)! But he wasn’t bad at all. He has the most adorable smile, loves his parents and can be very determined. He was absolutely sure that he wanted to pull the wagon with other props in it to and from the car. The entire way! Thanks for your help little guy!
