The S Family

I met another Miss Zoey and her wonderful parents. She was just about to turn 1 and couldn’t have been cuter. I’m really glad I talked Cassidy into coming to help with the session because she got way more smiles out of Zoey than I think I could have. And she was in the wonderful phase of standing but not quite walking which is perfect for me:) and also smiling with her nose crinkled up. Too cute!
It was great to meet you guys…hope you enjoy your peek:)

Baby Makes Five

I’ve loved watching this family grow. I first met them for their oldest son’s newborn pictures and since then I’ve gotten to see them for lots of other shoots. And in that time they’ve added a daughter and now another sweet baby boy. The day that we scheduled the shoot happened to be shady, then stormy, then sunny. When it started to rain we looked at the radar and determined that it would pass pretty quickly. So, we took a break, let Mr. E sleep and hung out eating snacks and chatting. It was great!

I think Mr. E may be a little rebel though. His parents are Aggies from Texas A&M University and just take a look at that last picture;)

Sorry guys…..I just had to show you this picture!

Zoe and Family

Miss Zoe was one of the best 5-year-olds ever! She was adorable…spunky and full of life. She seems like the type of little girl that everyone wants to be around because she’s fun and always has a smile on her face. And her parents were pretty great, too:) It was wonderful meeting you…hope you enjoy the peek.

Smiles Galore

Miss D had more smiles than I’ve ever seen in one photo session! She was the happiest girl the entire time and made my job so easy. We ended with some cupcake pictures and she had a complete blast. She was scooting in the crumbs, shoving handfuls in her mouth, playing peek-a-boo, and turning circles on her booty. After we cleaned up she reached for me and let me hold her for a while. She would hug my neck and then pull back with another one of her huge smiles and do this over and over. I was completely smitten and could have easily packed her up and taken her home!

Opposite

I met up for our first photo session with this beautiful family last May. We had some challenges with bright sunlight and catching smiles but I still adored the shots that we got. We met up again last week hoping that there might be better outdoor conditions and more smiles than last year. The wind was a little strong but the day was gorgeous. And we did get lots of smiles. Only those smiles were usually going in opposite directions. As one would come near me the other one was high-tailing it the other way! It was actually kind of comical how each little girl had their own agenda and went their own way. I know that their poor mom was stressed but I think that years from now they can look back and laugh at how many things we tried to get shots of them together and the entire family together. And luckily we did get some.
Their big brother was a hard worker that day. He corralled them constantly…I was tired just from watching him. And yes, that’s how good of shape I’m in. I get tired watching someone coral little ones:)
Introducing Miss K, Miss K and their family….

Lil’ Miss Independent

I have had more than a handful of quick little ones lately and you can definitely add Miss K. to that list. She is one of the most independent and quick little girls ever but she sure was cute! She has the prettiest, big brown eyes and it became my mission of the photo session to get some pictures of them. She adores her big brother and did really great when he would let her sit with him or hold her hand. The 2nd picture isn’t perfect (technically speaking) but I loved this moment between them.
It was great meeting you guys…hope you enjoy your peek:)

Expecting a Sweet Baby Boy

Another gorgeous mom-to-be that is awaiting the arrival of her new baby boy. I loved the outfits she chose, her hair looked amazing and even though she said she wasn’t sure about posing she did perfect for these pictures (and dad-to-be did too)! I just love wildflowers so I’m glad that we were able to incorporate some with her flowing skirt. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek:)

Mr. T & Miss K

This is Miss Kate and her little brother. This is the Kate that I wrote about on a PREVIOUS post that knows OUR Kate(Drew’s girl and future wife). This family is moving a couple of hours away and dad is already there and working at his new job at Texas A&M. In fact, he is working with our good friend (our Kate’s dad)that moved there to work, also. I’m sad to see all of them move but hope to see them regularly! So even though he wasn’t able to make it we met up to get some pictures of the kids and luckily got mom into a few of them.
It was great hanging out for the shoot. Hope you enjoy your peek and best of luck with your new adventure!

Family of Four

I traveled to their side of Houston for a family session. I loved where they lived…everywhere I looked had great photo ops. We started by their home under some gorgeous trees and then drove to a park. Apparently, every photographer in Houston drove to this same park. It was packed with people doing pictures. I just wish those locations were closer to me because it’s so pretty there! Miss M is getting so big and her baby brother wasn’t the newborn that I had last seen. It was so wonderful seeing and working with you guys again:)

Kian

Finally, he’s here. He was born earlier today…of all days, April Fool’s:) He’s completely adorable and so sweet. His mom ran a little fever during labor so as a precaution they put him in a nursery where they can monitor for possible infection (that’s why you see all of the extra things hooked up to him). Introducing Kian Tayte…
