Good Sports

Another session where the mosquitoes were so, so bad! They were so bad that they literally ran us indoors! We took a few pics indoors, sprayed with bug spray and ventured out for some park pictures. These brothers were such troopers. I mean what brothers really want to hug each other, hold hands or put their faces close together. I imagine not many boys want to do that but everything that I asked them to do they were good sports about. Thanks guys!! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek:)

A Success at Fun and Photos

I love these girls and their mom. She wants pictures that show the girls as they really are. She doesn’t worry about having the perfect pose, perfect hair, perfect clothing…she wants them happy and having fun. And fun is what we had. My kids have met them at several of the sessions and they all adore each other. They ran up full of hugs and smiles and it warms my heart! Mackenzie had gymnastics and was so upset that she couldn’t go and see them. She begged to miss that day.
There was a lot of running, hanging, playing and laying in the leaves. You know that fun was had when you have leaves in your hair and stuck on your clothes.

Isn’t she precious holding her baby everywhere she goes

Mr. Speedy and His Fam

I feel so privileged to get to watch this wonderful family grow and it’s funny because I feel like we’ve come full circle. I think it was the 2nd time that I met up with them (maybe even the first time and Mr. Speedy was super little) I had to take my kids with me for some reason. Shouldn’t be too much of a problem because Mackenzie, my oldest, could hang out with and keep the other two busy. Lo and behold my girls ran to me screaming that Drew had pulled down his pants and had gone potty on the ground. He was little and I don’t think he’d ever done that. I was beyond mortified!! Also, the girls had been in school all day and we left as soon as they got home without changing or brushing their hair and they looked a little “rough”. So, my 3 probably seemed like a small group of heathens to this family. Well, while we were at the session this year, and coincidentally we were at the same location now years later, their youngest had to go to the restroom. Not having a restroom available they had him go by a tree and I reminded them of what had happened there years before when I barely knew them. It seemed like deja vu!

Mr. Speedy will also be getting a little sister soon. Now mom won’t be totally outnumbered. I can’t wait to meet her:)

Mr. S and His Dog Katie

He is at such a fun age. He was exploring, throwing sticks for his dog, filling his pockets with rocks, and discovering that if you put your hand inside your sleeve it looks like you don’t have a hand. Once he discovered that little trick he showed his dog with a huge smile on his face. Adorable~!

Hope you enjoy the peek:)

Yes, Katie the dog is wet. She went swimming in the creek!

Look at my cool trick….

Attack of the Mosquitoes

I am always happy to see this sweet family and I feel lucky that I get to watch Miss C and Miss E grow. This particular day is the day where we had a problem with mosquitoes…really the first day to notice them…and boy, I didn’t realize how bad it was going to get. We met at the location we had decided on and immediately realized that it was swarming with mosquitoes so we moved to a different location. They were still bad, but not as bad as the first location!

Hope you guys enjoy the peek:)

She has amazing eyes and is one of the happiest babies and smiles a LOT.

Pictures With Their Baby

And their baby just happens to be an amazingly pristine classic car. Isn’t it gorgeous?

Playing Shy

This little guy had it in his head that he wasn’t going to warm up to me and my camera. But that’s okay…some of my favorite pictures are the ones where he is stubbornly looking at me trying so hard not to smile and with the help of his parents we were able to get some smiles. Isn’t he adorable?!

Adorable Siblings

When I did Mr. C’s pictures last year it seemed super easy….too easy. Did I think it would be that easy again? No, but a photographer can hope, right?! Anyways, he now moves at a superhuman warp speed. A speed that seemed almost impossible to keep up with. I think we tried everything in the book! So what if he has a sucker in some of the pictures with his sister?? Luckily, there were some tree branches that he was content hanging around in and that at least kept him in one place.
He now has a precious baby sister that has the most adorable little grin. Meet Mr. C and his sister, Miss D.

Fall Schedule and The G Family

I am officially booked for the rest of the year (except for newborn sessions). It’s getting crazy to where I’m getting behind and stressing! I do have a waiting list that I can put people on in case any openings come up. I also have to start cutting back on some things and the blog will have to be the first one. I’ll still be posting sneak peeks but can’t put up as many pictures from each session.

Here is the “G” family. Absolutely adorable kids! Their oldest is 4 and the younger ones are 2. Thanks for meeting up with me…and for waiting on your sneak peek:)

Newborn Mr. C

I’ve been doing pictures for this family since their oldest was pretty little and just adore them. Since then they’ve added 2 more kiddos that are totally in love with their new baby brother.

It was great to hang out with you guys:) Hope you enjoy the peek!
