Tiny Newborn Girl

T-tiny little girl that was so sleepy. When they first arrived and were undressing and messing with her she would just close her eyes like it wasn’t possible to stay awake. A great first sign for a newborn shoot! She was born premature and spent some time in NICU and even though she is still small she’s quite determined and knows what positions she likes to be in! Thanks for letting me capture her newborn pictures….she’s a doll:)

2 Years Old

I cannot believe this sweet girl is two! I did her newborn pictures when she was brand new and it certainly doesn’t seem that long ago. I see her family several times a year and I always look forward to it. They are wonderful and trust me completely. And they even go along with parking on the side of the road and hiking over a ditch to find the perfect spot:) My girls went along to help and they fell in love with Little Miss K. She adored them and did pretty much anything they did….they sang, they jumped, they ran and danced. Towards the end she went up and started hugging them without anyone telling her to and they melted. It was soooo sweet.

I’m so glad I got to see you guys again…hope you enjoy the peek:)

Family of 3

I’m so glad that it worked out for pictures for this family. They are a military family currently serving in South Korea and were home for a short time to visit. We met up the evening before they left and they mainly played while I snapped lots of lifestyle pictures. Thanks for letting me document your family….you guys were a blast. Hope you enjoy the peek:)

Most Adorable Pout Ever

Oh my goodness was this baby girl adorable. She made her parents and aunt do crazy things to try and get smiles and didn’t give a whole lot but just look at the other facial expressions. And the pout…my favorite pout ever:) Hope you enjoy your peek.

Pearland Senior 2011

One of the seniors for 2011. She was such a good sport for anything! She’s on the dance team and we did get some pictures for that but I already had too many for here. Hope you enjoy your peek:)

Little Man of Many Faces & His Family

I got the sweetest email from this mom when she decided to book for this spring (Thanks!). Her oldest reminded me so much of my 5-year-old at picture time. He had about ten thousand expressions for me and I was cracking up going through the pictures. I should have done a little collection of all his silly faces. His younger brother had his own agenda and was on. the. move! He also liked to throw whatever prop we gave to keep him busy and I must say he has a future as a quarterback or pitcher. Hope you like your sneak peek:)

Absolutely…

no fun was had on this session at all. Can you tell? It started with meeting up with this great family and having their little girl run up and give me a hug. We had never even met and she had me at hello:) Then we proceeded to be silly and have fun pretty much the entire time. She was adorable and loves life. Mom is a teacher at the elementary school that my 2 younger ones go to. I love working with teachers or other professionals outside of their profession. You get to see them in a whole different light than how you “know” them. It was great meeting you guys and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Cassidy’s 9th Birthday Pics

Poor Cassidy. She’s the middle child and she has a birthday right after Christmas and New Years. We never, ever have her party on or very near her actual birthday. It’s just always so crazy between the holidays and traveling and them being out of school. So, even though we’re still celebrating her birthday months later this year we wanted to make it special. She decided what she wanted to do and also mentioned that she wanted to do a photo shoot and make invitations with one of the pictures. This I could do. So, we curled her hair, picked out some funky clothing and ventured out. Everyone went so I was able to get pictures of all the kids (I’ll have to post those later) so that in itself was a huge accomplishment!

And here’s the birthday invite we came up with. It’s the front and back with the personal info blurred out.

Little Cowboy and His Cousins

Growing up I always wished that I had more cousins my age. I was born later for my parents…my sister and brother were already teenagers and most of my cousins were their age also. So, when I met up with Mr. K and his cousins I couldn’t help but feel excited for them. They’re all under six and live pretty close to each other.

Mr. K took a huge liking to the little green chair and once he did then he didn’t want any pictures without it (as you can see below…even in the group pic). He had been so good for his newborn shoot and then the one before Christmas and I was hoping that he was just as agreeable and happy for this one. And he was! His smile lights up his eyes and makes him the perfect little model. It was a pleasure seeing you again Mr. K and thanks for bringing your cousins along:)

Miss E

I knew that Miss E and I would get along perfectly as soon as I found out she was born on my birthday:) She put up a little fuss in the beginning but then settled into a good sleep. Her skin was so perfect for a newborn! Such a gorgeous baby girl!!
