Little Charmer

Last time I saw Mr. B he was practically bald and immobile and now (especially because of his first haircut) he can move and looks like a little boy! Where does the time go? He was definitely a little charmer giving me hugs and wanting me to hold him.

I just adore his mom and grandma and got to meet dad this time around too.

While we were following him around I happened to see a friend of mine and her family drive by and they waved. The next day she teased me saying that at first they saw a toddler walking through a grassy field with weeds without a shirt and wondered who in the world would have a half naked toddler trampling through there possibly getting bit by mosquitoes. And that’s when they saw me. And she said it all made sense. They all said “Aaaahhhh, Laura would do this!” And to my defense the grass that we let him walk in wasn’t THAT tall (we carried him through the big stuff), we shooed any bugs away, and just about any photographer would do this:) I mean just because I took you and your kids to a dumpster for some pictures right after you moved in…..

It was sooooo good to see and hang with you guys again. Hope you enjoy the peek:)

This boy can rock a hat!

When Miss K got out of the vehicle in her dress, boots and headband I got so excited. She is so photogenic! The last time we did pictures was indoors and I couldn’t wait to get some of her adorable attitude and cool attire in outdoor pictures. Her little brother, Mr. C, was so good, too. He was extremely smiley for me and you can’t beat that.

One of the things that was mentioned to bribe Miss K with was going to Chick fil A. And if you’ve read my blog at all you know that I keep them in business and might possibly turn into a nugget or fry. So as soon as we were done they headed there with me right behind them:) Hey, I can’t hear the name and not eat it!

Clear Brook Senior 2011

Within the first few minutes of meeting this gorgeous senior I had decided that she was probably a tomboy. Her first outfit was jeans and top and then I found out she was going to college in Arkansas to play soccer. BUT as soon as she changed into her dresses it was apparent that she can rock those, too! She was a great sport and had such nice manners. Thank you for making this session a blast Miss B. and go get em’ in Arkansas.

Happily Married

They’ve been married 10+ years but had never had any real pictures taken in their wedding attire so we headed out to the park with their dog baby, Buddy. Buddy looks a LOT like my dog, Chips, except much better behaved! You guys were a joy to work with. Tell Buddy I said hello:)

Senior ’11

I love her style. She said she’s more of a dress girl and I think she looks so pretty in her dresses with her perfect poise. And I’m so jealous…she has the most perfect skin! I had a lot of fun doing this shoot with you Miss C. Hope you enjoy the peek:)

Little Brother, Big Sister

This location was the absolute most gorgeous hidden diamond in the area. Thanks so much to the family that let us use it!!

This little guy was the cute little pumpkin baby from the blog back in October. He looks the same although a little bigger but he is now on the move and EXTREMELY fast and busy!! And we were lucky that big sis was able to be here for this shoot.

You want me to be still and pose?

How about I just bite her in the bootie?

Oh alright, I’ll just come up with my own backwards pose. Don’t I look cute sitting on top of her?

Friendswood Senior 2011

Cosmo the dog decided to wake me up to go outside. Surprisingly I couldn’t go back to sleep (while Cosmo sits by me snoozing away) so I decided what better thing to do than get a head start on Friday’s list of to-dos.

This is a 2011 senior that was super photogenic. She really wanted a downtown street picture so we played a little frogger with the traffic! That’s always an adventure! It was so much fun to hang with you and your family Miss L. Enjoy your peek:)

Miss E

These were her 13 year pictures. She is normally not a dress-wearing getting-all-dolled-up type of girl so she was a little unsure about how this would go but I think she did awesome and looks gorgeous. Most certainly more gorgeous than I was as a 13-year-old! I had fun Miss E and hope you did too! Enjoy the peek:)

The N Family

A couple of memorable things from this photo shoot. First, when we got to the location we heard an alarm off in the distance. I thought an ambulance was going to drive by but I realized that the sound never got closer. After it had been going for a while I asked them if they thought we had set off an alarm. Surely not because it sounded like it was at a building down and on the other side. And it went off the entire time we were there. But…..as soon as we moved way down the street it stopped! So much for that alarm being any good because no one ever showed up to check out what had set it off.

The next thing, and graceful I am not, was when my shoe caught on a small fence that we had to step over and I ate it. It happened pretty fast but I can remember all the things I was thinking as it happened….catch your balance, pull your shoe free, it’s only a little fence, it would be so embarrassing to fall, why can’t I just lean the other way so I don’t fall backwards…but there I went! And they were so kind asking if I was okay and helping me up.

Thank you N family for a wonderful and adventurous shoot:) Hope you enjoy your peek.

Mr. L…aka Moose

Here’s Moose again. He’s my niece’s favorite little “boy” friend that she’s known almost since birth. They go to daycare together and both of them light up when I say the other ones name.

He’s such a good little photo subject. I have a canvas in my computer room of him smiling as a newborn…he smiled when he was 8 months old and we sat him in a wooden crate on the sidewalk downtown…and now he is smiling in most of the pictures from this session. Thanks you Mr. L for always making it easy (I’d better bite my tongue, right?)!!!
