People that are in front of the camera usually need a little direction or help on poses…um, not this girl. I quickly realized that she totally knew what she was doing and had said that she had had to take some classes in posing for the print modeling that she does. I was really impressed! I was able to meet this family halfway when we did their maternity shoot (back on a hot day in May where I declared that I wasn’t doing anymore mid-day shoots because of the heat!) but they drove across Houston for the newborn pictures….thanks guys:) He was so precious. His eyes are so bright so I was glad that he was awake for some of the pictures. Hope you like the sneak peek:) I’ve worked with this brown-eyed beauty twice now and she is so happy and smiles all the time. She has the best personality and you can tell that her family adores her. Her little boyfriend even showed up for the shoot and she was adorable trying to look around me to him. They were so cute together. Hope you enjoy! This family is wonderful to me. They have given countless gift certificates to their friends for photo sessions and they’ve referred more than a handful of people:) Thanks guys!! They are expecting their 2nd child and aren’t finding out what they’re having. I can’t wait to see if Mr. A is getting a baby brother or baby sister. It seems like yesterday that he was the best newborn ever at his newborn session. Mr. A’s mom called me and explained that she hated to be last minute but that her parents were flying in on Wednesday and her dad would then leave the next day. Did I have a few minutes to just take some snapshots of them with their grandson. How can I refuse some of the best clients ever?? I ran over and was there just a super short time but we literally snapped away and got some shots of them. Mr. A didn’t want to leave his mom out so she jumped in for most of them. Hope you enjoy your peek:) that their home and the surrounding area is a gold mine for photography. When they thought that one area was too messy I told them it was perfect. Wagon wheels, old buildings, vines growing along the side…I couldn’t ask for more. I’m so glad that it worked out that evening. Hope you enjoy your peek:) with the leg lifts. Check out his newborn feet picture from his newborn shoot. It was so cute how he lifted his tiny newborn legs the first time and really humorous to see he’s still at it. He has to have some major stomach muscles. When his momma contacted me the first time regarding maternity pictures we didn’t know that we actually live in the same neighborhood (pretty close too), have the same type of dog, and their daughter will start kindergarten at the same school with Drew. It’s been great getting to know them a little bit. Their daughter will be a STAR. She is so full of spunk! During this shoot I did a few of her by herself and you should have seen the poses she was coming up with. We were laughing so hard! I think Drew would have a blast having her in class. Hope you enjoy the peek:) Ok, thanks to my niece for going and having a baby and making me feel OLD!!! They are in town visiting and I’m so glad we were able to sneak in a little photo session with her precious son. He is too adorable for words. HUGE, blue, blue, blue eyes and the cutest smile. He was so good for the pictures smiling just about the entire time. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek:)
Normally I would re-schedule a shoot when it rains but I had already driven about an hour to get there (stuck in afternoon traffic) and then with a maternity shoot you are already on a time constraint. It started raining shortly before I got to their home and I was praying that it would stop by the time I arrived or that it would let up at some point. Luckily, it did. We were able to get some shots out on their patio, on a balcony, inside and then finally the rain stopped long enough for a few outdoors. Thanks for being such troopers!! Hope you enjoy your peek:) |
