A Special Event This Weekend

Super easy-going family with a new baby boy. While little brother took a break to eat we were able to snap some pics of his big brother. He was so funny!

If you’re a local blog follower I wanted to mention a benefit that is coming up this Saturday. I know we’ll be there and I hope you’ll think about attending, too. There will be food, games, entertainment, etc….

Seth’s Carnival Benefit

Date: April 10, 2010 starts at noon

Location: “Billy Griffin’s Hall” 4070 Wells Dr
(between Bailey and Keis) Pearland, TX 77584

Goal: To celebrate his life and raise money for medical bills.

Seth Mitchell was 4 years old when he was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). He has endured countless lumbar punctures, bone marrow aspirations, blood transfusions, and hospital stays.

At the age of 6 his cancer relapsed, and on Janurary 22, 2010 he found out that the cancer invaded his central nervous system. His single mother was told he was facing 52 intense weeks of chemotherapy, but on February 10, 2010 Seth came down with CSV, a viral infection that lowered the amount of oxygen his lungs could process, requiring Seth to be on constant oxygen.

On March 1, 2010 the doctors told Seth his CSV turned into pneumonia.

March 5, 2010 Seth left this earth to be with our maker. May the good Lord bless his beautiful soul. Please continue to pray for his family. “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” (Matt. 5:4)

In honor of his memory, the benefit is still on. We will celebrate his life as we raise money for his family.
