I just got through reading THIS and am stunned. Totally amazing…take the time to look through the entries (I think there’s 38 or so) you won’t regret it! This is a friend and former co-worker of mine and her super-fun cut-up of a family. She’s wanted some pictures for quite a while and it’s just never happened. Now, her son is graduating and we knew that the family dynamics may change after that and we’d better get on with the photo shoot. (I did actually threaten to just show up at her house to get it done)! They were so much fun. I know that she probably wants a more traditional pose for show but more than anything I wanted to be able to give her memories of their interaction…what it’s like to have your oldest almost grown and your younger being a tween…how they tease each other and play. In fact, we had to get onto dad quite a few times for disruption! Haven’t come across that before:) Don’t worry Cindy, I have quite a few “normal” poses but I really hope that you like these that I’ve chosen for your sneak peek. I had a blast! about this little one. First, she has the most gorgeous blue eyes, and second, she is the smallest yet speediest little girl ever! A couple of times I had to just stop in my tracks and laugh because she outwitted me the entire time. I would try and head her off or get at the end of the play structure where *I thought* she would “slide down” or “head that way” and I was never right. I should have thought these things and then done the opposite. Then I might have been right…right? Nah, probably not! senior for this location. I’ve done lots of kids sessions at the horse stables but have been wanting to do a senior there. I suggested it and she was all for it…and was PERFECT. She loves horses and even adored the cat that followed us everywhere. That crazy cat is in so many pictures that it looks as though she brought her own animal to be in the photo shoot. I hope you had a great prom, and hope you enjoy this sneak peek:) going to get taken away by mosquitoes. I can actually see at least 2 – 3 in every picture from this photo shoot. In fact, if you click through them fast enough you can “see” them flying and attacking! So, we fought the mosquitoes, ran from the rain, and then climbed wet fences while we got drizzled on…it was quite the adventure:) I joked around that I bet they had no idea what they were in for when they signed up for this. Their little one is so adorable and I really enjoyed myself with the whole family…despite our big adventure. I hope you guys enjoy the peek, and THANKS for being such great sports. This family of 4 was so much fun! Their little canine kids of course adored both of them but the male dog is a little more into him and the female is slightly more into her…perfect:) I was a little bummed that the dogs seemed more interested in everything that was going on around us rather than paying attention to my calls, whistles, jumping, squealing, barking/meowing, and the list of idiotic things that I was trying just goes on and on…and they just seemed oblivious to me! Well, I hope you guys enjoy the pictures. I have a perfect one of this picture where everyone is looking straight at me but there’s something about this one that I love. When I spoke to this senior the day before our shoot I asked her about her preference for locations and she mentioned THE field. The one that was recently mowed. In my totally disappointed voice I told her that it didn’t look the same…AND THEN I looked up. I was sitting in my van (and yes, I’m in the mini van stage. LOL) waiting for my oldest to get out of dance and that’s when I saw it. A new field. It’s not as big and well, just doesn’t have the same appeal but it’ll certainly do. So we did some pictures there the next day and I’m pretty happy with this new location. Coupled with the fact that she knew how to work the camera…it was a good day:) I hope you enjoy your sneak peek! Any senior that can do a standing backflip in the middle of a field of wildflowers while having her picture taken is impressive to me:) She is involved in lots of activities and we tried to incorporate them all. She also just got her brand new vehicle and we just had to do some pictures with it. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek! |
