Sweet Girl

She was too adorable with her huge brown eyes! She didn’t smile a whole lot for us but when she did her whole face lights up.

Urban #4…

but this time at a new location that the client suggested. And I loved it!! It was perfect. Their clothes were perfect with it. And the orange balloons were the icing on the cake!

Hope you enjoy the peek:)

Urban #3

Another great family that I’ve been working with for several years. I’m so glad that she jumped on the “urban” mini sessions because I am loving all the color. Urban is definitely one of my faves….too bad the area of town for urban is a little questionable. LOL!

More Urban…

with my good friends the G family. This is the couple that we became instant friends with when Chad went with me and we did their engagement pictures. Since then we’ve done a wedding and newborn pictures and now family pictures with all five. It’s so fun working with people that I’ve gotten to know over the years. Also, their littlest cutie just happens to be my niece’s main squeeze at daycare:) Is he not totally ADORABLE!!??

Urban

Some of the most adorable kiddos ever….and I love the way they look around all the color!

Family of 6

Sometimes photographing a family of six can be a daunting task but that certainly wasn’t the case with this wonderful group. They were great! Hope you enjoy your little preview:)

Sweet Little M

This is my friend Gina’s newest addition to her family. Big brother is pretty proud of him and it was so sweet seeing them cuddle. I don’t think Little M trusted me though because throughout the pictures he usually kept one eye slightly open to keep an eye on me.

Hope you enjoy the peek:)

Ten on Tuesday and some Spunky Sisters

1. I still haven’t recovered from mini sessions this past Saturday. It was kind of like shooting a wedding with the long hours except we were out in the heat! Thanks to the families that participated!! I can’t wait to share some pics.

2. I really should go to bed early tonight but I want to watch the Chile mine rescues. It’s so interesting but I feel nervous for them…I can’t imagine. I have a live video playing. Everyone in the video is speaking Spanish…I don’t speak Spanish. Maybe I should go watch CNN.

3. I have to number these now because I was spending too much time going back and counting my sentences the last 2 times:)

4. I got in line with the speedy checker for grocery check out last week…and he was just as speedy this time. And I tried to load the groceries faster. And he rang them up faster. I’m gonna get spoiled.

5. Tonight on the way home Drew asked why businesses always put their name on the forehead of the building.

6. What was going on about 8, 9 months ago??? because there has been an explosion of newborns these past couple of weeks.

7. We ran in Gap Sunday and got what we thought were some really good deals. That is until the next day when we got an email saying that they had 40% off your entire purchase on Monday. I just had to have Chad run by after work (it’s way closer to him) and grab a couple more things:)

8. We’re rooting for Bryan Caswell on The Next Iron Chef. We know him and here’s how: It’s my husband’s mother’s boss’ son. Make sense? He and Chad used to play when they were little. He owns several restaurants here in Houston that have rave reviews!

9. Hallelujah!!!! The first miner was just brought up. Wow, definitely had some tears when he hugged his wife and son.

10. The rest of the year is officially booked (not for newborns…we’ll figure out a way to get them in because they’re only that little once). I have a waiting list with 4 people on it now. I think about 6 people/families from the waiting list were able to do pictures last year so let me know if you want on the list.

These are the daughters of Mackenzie’s wonderful orthodontist and they were all about fun! Can you tell from the pictures that they’re naturals? They really play off of each other…in a good way.

Hope you enjoy the peek:)

Family Shoot at the Japanese Gardens

Wonderful family that I met up with at the Japanese Gardens. Little guy Mr. K has the sweetest disposition. He smiles constantly and did so until he was completely worn out. That is where the last photo comes in. He was done posing and just wanted a little snuggle time with mom and I snapped a shot of it. I think it’s so sweet.

Hope you enjoy the peek:)

Parents, kids & their dog

Had the first day of mini sessions today and I’m EXHAUSTED! I may not get as much computer work done tonight as I’d hoped so please bear with me if you’re waiting on things.

Cute kids and adorable dog:) When mom mentioned possibly bringing the dog I of course encouraged it. She was so cute she almost stole the show. The kids were great and helped come up with some of the poses.

Hope you enjoy your peek:)
