Sneak Peek – Pumpkin Patch

I’m trying to throw some quick sneak peeks up because…..I know I’m a broken record…but I’m still super behind and want to spend most of the time on actual proofs.

You can’t tell from these pictures but poor little guy Mr. J was not having it this evening. We weren’t able to get many pics of the 2 boys together so this is one of those instances where a storyboard or individual pics grouped together works best.

Mr. T

Here’s little Mr. T and his sweet, adoring sister. Hope you enjoy your peek:)

Family Shoot – League City

I think that’s it for tonight….I’ll tackle more sneak peeks tomorrow in between the newborn shoot and family shoot:)

This family had a new location in mind and it was great! And I’m so glad we were able to get the swing shot in (like she had seen on the blog) before it got too dark.

Family – Urban Session

Just can’t stay away from the watermelon boat at these urban sessions! Awesome family that I’ve gotten to know over several years…thanks for a great session and for showing me some new locations:)

Cover Boy and His Sleepy Sister

Here’s my sleepy newborn model that wouldn’t wake up and show us her gorgeous eyes. And no, she didn’t wake up at this photo session either! Big brother looks like a little cover model…don’t you think?! We were also able to fit in some extended family while they were all together. So glad that it worked out. Enjoy:)

Big smiles

I can not believe this was for his one-year pictures! Where did this past year go??

Sneak Peeks

Sorry to everyone waiting on sneak peeks. I’m way beyond the “a little behind” point and I’ve been trying to work on editing sessions more than the peeks because I figure that people would appreciate those being caught up more than a sneak peek. Soooo, I’m going to spend a little time on the peeks but they’ll be short and sweet.
Thanks for being patient with me!!!:)

This little girl is so serious that her mom will do just about anything to get a smile. Loved her room!!

Craziness

Thursday night I tried to work on the computer but it was one of those times where I was so exhausted that it was taking me twice the time to do anything as it normally would. My eyes were crossing, my head was bobbing, and there’s no telling what kind of work I would chug out so I decided that it would be a better decision to go on to bed, get a good night’s sleep and then wake up bright and early and tackle the work in the morning. So, Friday morning comes along and I jump out of bed feeling much better and ready to get all kinds of work knocked out. I head to the computer and the power light is on but nothing shows up on the screen. I try a few things and it’s still not working. Luckily, my husband is a computer guy and as soon as he’s up I ask him to take a look. The bad news he says is that he thinks the video card went out. Okay, what do we need to do to fix it? He says that he has an extra one and asked if I needed the computer that day. Ummmmmm yes! I probably yelled. I’m so behind…emails out the wazoo, books, cards and storyboards to design, sneak peeks and sessions to edit…yes, I need it! So he starts working on it. I was scared to ask but finally I asked how it was going. Well, not so good. It wasn’t the video card. He suspected the mother board and/or the drive. He asked if I wanted him to just kind of fix what we had or rebuilt it much better to what I’ve been begging for…a faster, and more storage computer. I answer that I want the best!!

He went into work for a couple of hours then drove across Houston for the new computer parts, and worked late into the night to put it together and load everything back onto it. I’m finally able to get on here. It’s a little different…I’m going to have to get used to the differences in looks and a little how it operates (he updated the operating system) but so far so good. He did tease me a little and called me old because I’m a creature of habit and it’s hard for me to embrace changes. But, it’s sooooooo much faster! So, $500 and a little over 24 hours and I’m good to go. So, if you’re wondering about your stuff I’m getting started back up to tackling everything!!:):)

I hadn’t seen this sweet family in quite a while and they’ve grown. They’re now a sweet family of 4:)

Sleeeeeeeeeppppyyyy girl

This little girl’s brother holds the title for best newborn ever at a shoot. So, when she got there I was giving her a pep talk about how well her older brother had done when he was a newborn and how she had a lot to live up to to be as good…yada, yada, yada. We were just shooting for a good 2nd place best newborn title. And normally, we spend lots of time trying to get newborns to sleep…and then you move them and spend more time getting them back to sleep and on and on. Not this girl. She slept, and she slept, and then she slept some more. She has amazing blue/green eyes right now (her brother had them at his newborn shoot too) and mom wanted a shot of her with her eyes open…BUT, we couldn’t get this girl to wake up. We tried everything! Including a wet blanket, walking outside, holding her up, loud noises, etc… She wouldn’t budge. So we got lots of adorable sleepy girl pictures.

Stay tuned to find out if she woke up for their extended family outdoor shoot several days later:)

Newborn Baby C

Such a little sweetie. She slept like a champ and went along with all the little newborn poses. Thank you Ms. C…so precious!
